Rated 91 by Wine Advocate The 2006 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico opens with bright amber, almost orange color. As you should expect, the aromas burst from the glass with caramel, butterscotch, dried orange peel and candied fruit. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2025.  

Orange marmalade, honey, quince on the nose. On the palate, it’s sweet. Can be drunk before dinner as an aperitif. Would pair well with crème brulee, pineapple upside down cakes, or blue cheeses.
