Produced from an infusion of rare herbs harvested by hand in the great wild expanse bordering the Ungava Bay, an unspoiled region in northern Quebec with breathtaking landscapes and extreme climatic conditions, Gin Ungava surprises with the bright yellow color given by the infusion of herbs which takes place after distillation. Gin Ungava is strongly linked to its homeland, it contributes to the cultural and economic protection of the local population: the rare herbs and berries harvested by the Inuit are purchased by fair trade associations. The link with the Inuit is also underlined by the writings on the label in their language. It is immediately distinguished from other gins for its characteristic intense yellow color.
TASTING NOTES:
-Color: It has a very intense and persistent yellow color.
-Aroma: The nose is slightly sweet, with a hint of lemon peel that goes well with juniper; alcohol is also perceived, but in general the aroma is very classic.
-Taste: In the mouth it is initially a bit sour, but soon takes on a more floral flavor before overwhelmingly leaving room for juniper. The finish is long, bitter and almost dry, leaving a dry but slightly balsamic aftertaste. On the other hand, the flavor is well balanced despite some notes being intense and it is not so far from the classic style.
