Previously known as Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Blend, this expression from the extraordinary Jamaican rum range is truly fantastic stuff. Matured for at least a dozen years in oak casks, this expression displays a marvellous flavour profile of ripe fruit, rich chocolate, molasses and more.
Nose: Almonds and hazelnuts. Very rich and creamy. A touch of crème caramel.
Palate: Spicy, creamy palate. Digestive biscuits, guava and muscovado sugar.
Finish: Long finish with creaking oak and exotic spice.
