Rare plum wine approved for long-term aging.This plum wine is made from Nanko plums grown in Wakayama prefecture, where plums are produced, using special farming methods. From the first touch in the mouth to the throat, you will enjoy all the flavours that come from the maturing process, and you can enjoy it straight from a wine glass or on the rocks like whisky. This plum wine has been certified as a GI Wakayama Plum Wine and is a genuine Wakayama born and bred plum wine. The plum wine is matured for a long time. The plums used in Chokyu have a wild taste, as if they have absorbed the bounty of the earth, and have been wild since the beginning (around 2009). Over time, the golden colour has changed to a chocolaty amber. It has a slightly smoky and astringent taste, with a whisky-like flavour and a delicious plum flavour.
