Bisquit Cognac created the XO Bisquit Rare Edition “Year of the Goat”, for sale solely through the Duty Free marketplace. The blend has been created in honor of the founder of the Cognac house, Alexandre Bisquit, who himself was born in the Chinese Year of the Goat, (albeit some years previously, in 1799).
Bisquit’s Cellar Master, Denis Lahouratate has used his expertise to create a very smooth product. The house say that the nose and palate reveal ‘generous fragrances of prune, candied fruits and soft spices’.
Tasting Notes
Tasting review by Bisquit Cognac:
Color: Old gold with amber depths.
Nose: Citrus marmalade with crushed hazelnut and prune
Palate: Flavors of vanilla wood in the mouth which combine well with the fruity elements and warm spirit.
Finish: Bright and fresh example with a long delightful finish
